Take some bytes out of your favourite pictures
WEBSITE OF THE DAY - PIc Resize

As is often the case, it's the simplest things that can make your life so much easier.

Say you've got a batch of images you want to use on your web page or in a presentation. Yes, you can open them in Photoshop and resize each one. You can even run a batch task to automate it, if you’ve got the skills.

Or now you can use www.picresize.com, one of the simplest and quickest ways we've found to turn unwieldy files into more manageable pictures.

All you need to do is upload your chosen images, and then you've got a simple suite of tools to make your adjustments. Crop, rotate and add effects to your heart's content, then the clever bit comes into play.

There are a few presets to choose from for resizing, or you can set a custom value. Either way, you'll soon have a set of images fit for even the tightest of file size limits.

It's simple, elegant and free. Nice work.
