Dell recently unveiled the new Vostro 460, a desktop computer tailored for small businesses. The mini tower PC features Intel’s powerful new Sandy Bridge Quad Core processors and Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, which accelerates performance for demanding applications.
The Vostro has eight USB 2.0 ports for connecting a variety of peripherals and devices, and a USB 3.0 add-on card for quickly backing up files to an external hard drive. The computer has plenty of storage: its hard-disk capacity is expandable up to 3 terrabytes. The tower also has a Blu-ray Disc drive and 7.1 HD sound.
Designed for smaller businesses without full-time IT staffs, the computer comes loaded with security services from Trend Micro as well as Dell Support Center software, which includes a troubleshooting and diagnostic tool. Customers can also opt to pay for 24/7 IT help from Dell ProSupport services.
Cost: Starting at $599
