Brilliant mock up pictures
If Angry Birds would have been around in 1992, then this is definitely what it would have looked like.
The mock up screenshots were created by by the chaps over at Penney Design, and we just love the 16-bit feel to it.
There's a cursor on board and 90s gaming fans will know that this would have meant a tricky control setup on the SNES or the Mega Drive (in the way that console versions of Lemmings and Cannon Fodder struggled), so it would be likely that it would have been much more at home on the Commodore Amiga, or a DOS-running PC.
We particularity love the power, wind and angle gauges - in the days before touchscreens we needed to be told everything kids.
Kudos to the Penney Design guys, this is a fantastic spoof.
