The Finalists of the Seattle 2.0 Awards 2011 for Best Startup Designer



Just a few years ago, a clunky UI with bad typography, misaligned elements, mismatched colors and confused was actually fairly acceptable for consumers when using their software, website or mobile app. But the bar has been dramatically raised. Expectations are much higher for the user experience and design of websites. Jay Dokken is a partner at Design Commission. He has done work for several startups including Gist, Optify, GoTime, TweepML and Seattle 2.0.
Kyle Kesterson is the Co-founder & Chief Creative Officer at Giant Thinkwell. Prior to that he was a designer at Übermind.
Matt Shobe is the Chief Design Officer at BigDoor Media. Prior to that he was a User Experience Designer at Google, coming from the acquisition of Feedburner, a company he was a co-founder of.
Tony Wright is the co-founder of Cubeduel. Prior to that he was the co-founder and CEO of RescueTime.
