We at Pocket-lint are big fans of the audio solutions from Altec Lansing, so our ears pricked up when we heard about its latest speaker set - the travel friendly Orbit USB Stereo (iML247).

The latest Orbit device is designed for you to pack in your travel bag and take with you on the go - so you can still listen to your tunes with decent quality sound, even if you are stuck in a chain-hotel in the middle of nowhere with only your laptop for company.

Despite their diddy demeanour, the Orbit USB Stereo still packs in Altec Lansing's Audio Alignment tech as well as two 40mm active drivers.

The speakers don't need batteries, they are USB powered, and they come with retractable stands so they shouldn't take up too much space in your bag.

Out in mid-May, the Altec Lansing Orbit USB Stereo will cost ?39.99.
